Munch Brygge

After the groundwork for the new Munch Museum in Bjørvika was completed in 2016...

The area is centrally located between the Munch Museum and the new Clarion Hotel, in close proximity to the Opera building.

The work consisted of sheet-piling around the entire construction pit, excavation of underground parking, stiffening of the sheet-piles, using hydraulic stiffeners and concrete casting of the working platform,

The contract for construction of the buildings was awarded to Bunde-Bygg. Kynningsrud Fundamentering was chosen as subcontractor for establishing the 235 pillars needed to support the 4 buildings.

The project was delivered well within the agreed date, to a very satisfied customer and client.
